They kept us ROLLING for years! Back in the 90s, Def Comedy Jam showed what black folks had to offer to the world of comedy. Def Comedy Jam was an HBO TV series produced by hip-hop's first mogul, Russell Simmons. The show's original host was none other than thee legendary comedian, Martin Lawerence. Def Comedy Jam brought a new and fresh style of stand-up comedians.

Yo! It was a real history-making show, featuring the biggest names in comedy — Bernie Mac, Steve Harvey, Cedric the Entertainer, Dave Chappelle, Martin Lawrence, Eddie Griffin, Tracy Morgan, Chris Rock, Chris Tucker and soooooo many more! It’s not clean, it’s not correct, and it’s still dangerously funny!  

 It’s thee biggest, blackest, ground-breaking, star-making, dopest, mos def-est comedy show of ALL TIME. And now…it’s back [on our diaper]!!!

When I designed this diaper, I thought about who and what represented.

A few years back, I dated a comedian and saw how hard the game was. ESPECIALLY for black comedians. To be funny on TikTok is easy. But to write jokes and perform them live for people you don’t know.. that takes a lot of talent and courage.

RESPECT for those who make you laugh even while they sorrow.
